Litigation Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

Occasional remote work may be available, but this role is not fully remote. Note: An active South Carolina Bar license and at least 1+ year of litigation experience are required. Insurance defense experience is preferred, but strong litigation attorneys from other practice areas are encouraged to apply. Job Description Manage litigation matters from initial investigation through case resolution. Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents. Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. Work closely with clients, attorneys, and industry professionals to develop effective case strategies. Conduct legal research and prepare clear, persuasive written work. Manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals throughout the life of each case. Contribute to a collaborative team environment while taking ownership of assigned matters. Qualifications Active South Carolina Bar license. 1+ year of litigation experience. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral communication skills. Excellent organization and ability to manage competing deadlines. Insurance defense experience is preferred but not required.
