Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Assisted Living Facility in Annapolis, Maryland, where the atmosphere is both professional and friendly. Your schedule will typically consist of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, focusing on delivering quality care during regular business hours. As part of our healthcare team, you will engage closely with both staff and residents, fostering relationships that contribute to a cohesive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations for residents and review their medical histories to assess their health status.
• Order, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging, to arrive at accurate diagnoses.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.
• Prescribe medications as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and health records to facilitate effective care management.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, prevention strategies, and the importance of medication adherence.
• Advocate for healthy practices throughout the facility, organizing initiatives that promote physical and mental wellness.
• Engage in continued education and research to enhance your clinical knowledge and improve our care offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at Gotham Enterprises, you will primarily serve a diverse population of seniors within our Assisted Living Facility. Many of our residents may have chronic conditions requiring ongoing management, as well as acute health issues needing immediate attention. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring these residents receive compassionate care and education tailored to their unique healthcare needs, helping them lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent educational background.
• Must hold a valid Maryland State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is required.
• A valid DEA number is necessary for prescription authority.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Demonstrated patience and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, acute care, or a comparable clinical setting.
• Previous experience in geriatric care or within an assisted living context will be highly valued.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 130,000 to 150,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a rewarding salary, our benefits package includes:
