As our practice continues to grow, we're excited to welcome a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to our patient-focused team!If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and are eager to grow your dental career, we'd love to meet you!Your ScheduleMonday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pmTuesday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pmWednesday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pmThursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pmQualifications1 yr dental assisting experienceCurrent BLS/CPR certificationWhat You'll Do as an Orthodontic AssistantEstablish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the ultimate patient experience is delivered to every patient.Place and remove arch wires, elastic ties, power chains, and other orthodontic auxiliaries (as allowed by state regulations).Educate the patients on orthodontic care, headgear delivery and rubber band instructions.Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include Panoramic and Cephalometric x-rays.Maintain patients' charts and transcribe the doctor's notes accurately and assure home care instructions are clear to patients and/or guardian.Perform laboratory procedures including model pour up, trimming and fabricating clearn aligners.Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment.Benefits & Perks for Full-Time Employees (30+ Hours per Week)Quarterly Bonus Potential: Earn up to $700Health, vision, and life insuranceCompetitive employee discounts on dental services9 paid holidays and PTOFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Scrub allowanceContinuing education allowanceLicensure and certification reimbursementWhy Choose Levens Orthodontics?We're committed to delivering high-quality dental care in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
