Warehouse Team LeadApex - Pittsfield - Pittsfield, MA 01201OverviewSalary Range $28.00 - $32.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionThe Warehouse Lead will oversee the storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees all product and materials for inventory.Leads and coaches all material handlers.Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.Oversees procedures for receiving and storing raw materials.Works with Shipping and Receiving to receive raw materials.Leads and maintains the physical inventory of materials by leading & performing cycle counts.Leads efforts to standardize material part numbers and descriptions in IQMS.Reviews the dryer needs and requirements daily so completed jobs can be removed from the dryers, re-weighed and brought back into inventory.Must be able to work in a clean room environment, following all rules and regulations applicable to Apex Resource Technologies and its employees.Maintains communicate between Material Handlers from other shifts.Establishes procedures and leads the annual physical inventory.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsSkills / QualificationsExcellent organizational and planning skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staffProficient with inventory reporting systemsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareExperience in shipping and receivingPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at constant intervals throughout the shiftMust have good visionMust have manual dexterityMust be able to sit or stand for long periods of timeRepetitive motions are requiredMust be able to move 1100 lb. gaylords with a pallet jackRequires frequent bending, squatting, and twisting motionsMust be able to climb stepladdersMust be able to climb up and down stairsOther Special RequirementsMust be available for overtime as neededEnvironment: Noise level is uncontrolled (Ear plugs are provided)Must be able to learn and use different types of fork trucks and material handling equipmentWhen required, must be flexible to fill in as press operator or secondary operatorPerform job duties in accordance to ISO 13485/9001 including ISO auditsEnsures that all safety procedures are followedEnsures that all equipment safeties are not altered or defeatedReports any safety issues to proper personnel or supervisors as soon as possible
