ServiceNow IRM Developer

DescriptionKforce has a client in Hopkins, MN that is seeking a ServiceNow IRM Developer.Key Responsibilities:* Support a large-scale Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) transformation initiative* Focuses on migrating existing GRC solutions from Archer to ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) while modernizing risk management capabilities* May also participate in the design and development of custom applications when business requirements cannot be met through out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities* Own the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and production support* Participate in discovery sessions, design workshops, and sprint ceremonies to understand business requirements and define technical solutions* Develop and configure ServiceNow IRM solutions to support enterprise GRC transformation initiatives* Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and Development Leads to translate requirements into scalable solutions* Recommend and implement out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities whenever possible, minimizing customizations and promoting platform best practices* Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and platform guidelines* Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues within agreed delivery timelines* Document solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation details to meet audit and compliance requirements* Take ownership of features and user stories through the entire software development lifecycle, including production deployments* Contribute to the development of custom applications using modern technologies and AI-assisted development tools when business requirements extend beyond native ServiceNow IRM functionalityRequirements* 5+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience* 5+ years of JavaScript development experience* 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) experience* Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, platform architecture, and configuration capabilities* Experience working in Agile environments with participation in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives* Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and independently drive deliverables to completion* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet audit and compliance standardsPreferred Qualifications:* 2+ years of Spring Boot development experience* 2+ years of React development experience* Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)* Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS and/or Azure* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutionsJob TypeContractCompensation55 - $74
