The coordinator serves as a key liaison amongst the team. What you will do
- Effectively coordinate staff orientation, in-services, competencies, production, timeliness, quality, customer service, and efficiencies of Admission and Preadmission Representatives in areas of responsibilities.
- Coordinates scheduling process and maintains appropriate staffing levels to maximize department efficiency.
- Demonstrates good communication, continual education updates, and cooperative working relationship with all departments, co-workers and promotes a positive work environment.
- Provides timely information to the Supervisor/Manager regarding the Patient Facing processes, staffing, customer service (all departments, patients and co-workers).
- Monitors performance of staff, detects unsatisfactory trends/performance and deficiencies. Discusses needed performance improvement to staff as needed. Reports information to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Provides input and assists in development of operational policies and procedures and assists in disseminating information to staff. Developing, training and retaining employees; planning, assigning and leading work; rewarding and coaching employees.
- Ensures day-to-day workflow processes; identify workflow problems and recommend alternative solutions to problems. Monitors the quality and efficiency of the Patient Facing processes through auditing and key metrics.
- 1-3 years of revenue cycle (patient access, medical billing, insurance, collections) experience.

- Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with, but not limited to, CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA if applicable.
