Materials Planner

The Materials Planner manages the raw materials and packaging materials needed to meet daily finished goods production schedules for this growing Consumer Goods Company. This role will work closely with vendors, and various internal departments to ensure KPI and Production targets are met. This role will establish replenishment plans and monitor inventory, WIP, and stock transfers in an ERP system, that will help maximize the Supply Chain efficiencies. The ideal candidate will need to be able to manage a fast-paced role, that both identifies and helps resolve issues that could impact production schedules.

Location:

On-site 5 days (Monday through Friday)) - Normal business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop daily materials and packaging replenishment schedules to ensure finished good production schedules and inventory KPIs are met.
• Work closely with vendors and other internal departments to make sure customer orders and fill-rates are met.
• Execute the stock transfer of goods from 3PL locations to company warehouses to make sure customer orders and inventory metrics are met.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging materials to make sure production targets are maintained, as well as manage finished goods inventory plans to make sure there is balanced inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management)
• 2-3+ years of experience in a Materials Planning or Production Planning role - preferably in a Consumer Goods or Foods related company
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strongly proficient in Excel and Access, with the ability to manipulate data and import and export data into different systems.
• Ability to work as a member of a team, as well independently
• Knowledge of materials and production planning in a plant manufacturing environment
• Strong written, interpersonal, and presentational skills
• Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience working with ERP and MRP systems

Salary and Benefits:

Salary will be up to the $100,000 range, plus a target bonus of 10%
