**Required Experience and Skills:** - 1.5-2+ years of experience - 1 year of experience in MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown - Previous Charge Experience: Not required - Minimum 2 years RN experience required - Skills: IV start, telemetry, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, and more specified in the job description. **Certifications Required:** - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - PALS (if required by the unit, must be through the American Heart Association) **Licensure:** - WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. **Submission Requirements:** - Minimum 2 Manager/Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years. - RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date). - Submission to include a copy of all required certifications. **Charting System:** - Experience with Cerner required **Additional Requirements:** - Must be able to read strips - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. **Orientation and Modules:** - Orientation held every other Monday - Average completion time for modules: 8 hours, completed prior to start date.
