The position possesses functional knowledge pertinent to VoIP phone network (LAN/WAN/Network) communications technologies and is a contributor for the testing, implementing, and maintaining of new equipment. Equipment may include but is not limited to routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers, and VoIP technologies.What You'll Do:The contractor shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:Review and validate incoming ServiceNow tickets, obtaining missing or required information as necessary.Assign tickets to appropriate technical staff.Maintain and verify accurate system records.Manage Cisco WebEx configurations via Kurmi, including password resets, voicemail resets, and name changes.Perform onsite telecommunications installations within a 50-mile radius of workplace.Install and configure voice jumpers.Troubleshoot analog line issues and copper cabling infrastructure.Assist technical staff with day-to-day telephony tasks, such as phone relocation and installation.Inventory phones and network switches, documenting details in a spreadsheet for decommissioning or surplus processes.Installing network hardware components and cables.Configuring network softwareIdentifying and eliminating bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.Ensuring network operates securelyBackground checks: Must be able to pass Criminal and drug test.Required Qualifications:Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.Certified network professional accreditation, Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
