About the Position

Job Title: RN Pediatrics Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: Experience with Cerner Charting system is a plus. Preferred to have experience in circulating and scrubbing as applicable. Description: Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures. Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. This facility operates as a trauma level 3 pediatric hospital with multiple operating rooms and recovery spaces. Anesthesia support is available 24/7 for all surgical procedures, excluding specific high-risk categories. Scrubs are provided. Holiday requirements are included in the staffing policy, and responsibilities will be shared among the team.
