This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas, storage spaces, offices, restrooms, and customer-facing areas are clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards. The Housekeeper plays a key role in workplace safety, efficiency, and presenting a professional appearance to customers.Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness throughout the lighting showroom, break rooms, restrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, shelves, displays, fixtures, and work surfacesRemove trash, recycling, cardboard, and debris from warehouse and showroom areas regularlyKeep aisles, exits, storage areas, and walkways clear to support safe movement of employees and equipmentClean and maintain lighting displays and showroom floors to ensure a professional customer experienceReplenish restroom and breakroom supplies as neededAssist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and special cleaning requestsFollow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipmentReport safety hazards, building maintenance concerns, or inventory damage to managementRequirements:Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyTravel to up to three locations within a 10-mile radiusTravel time is on company time, and mileage is reimbursedAttention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safetyAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic understanding of workplace safety practicesDependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitudeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionallyComfortable working in a warehouse environment and around electrical materials and equipmentAbility to safely work from ladders and other elevated work areas as needed.Must be able to clean and handle delicate, fragile, and high-value lighting fixtures, including glass chandeliers and specialty lighting, with appropriate care.Position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting as necessary to perform cleaning duties.Preferences:Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or warehouse cleaning experienceMust submit a background check and drug testingScott Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountTuition reimbursementPaid holidaysEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Schedule:8-hour shift11:00 am to 7:30pmWork Location: In person
