Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Diagnostics/GI Endoscopy position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active OK or Compact RN licensure.

Details

• Outpatient Diagnostics unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Endoscopy procedures, pre-op, and recovery care provided on the unit
• EMR: Epic
• No floating requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend hours as required by the facility

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (no expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Outpatient Diagnostics or Endoscopy experience
• Endoscopy experience preferred; pre/post experience considered at minimum
• Ability to circulate endoscopy procedures and work in pre-op and recovery settings preferred
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide and evaluate patient care, maintaining professional accountability across the care team
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Scrub color: Black
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a reduced pay rate
• Local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• This facility has earned a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of "A"
