Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree or Higher
- Experience: 2+ years of L&D RN experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting
- Licensure: CA RN License
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- Skill Set:
- Vaginal Exams
- Circulating C-Sections
- Post CS Recovery
- Care of the high-risk antepartum patient
- Gestational Hypertension
- Gestational DiabetesCare of the laboring patient, including CS and Vaginal delivery and recovery
- Obstetrical Emergencies, including Ob Hemorrhage
- Care of the newborn, within the first hour of life
- Breastfeeding, initial latch
- Typical Procedures:
- Labor and Delivery Management, including vaginal exams
- Outpatient testing: NST, CST, BPP
- OB Triage, OBED, MSE
- Versions, Cervical Cerclage
- OP Injections
- Bachelors Degree preferred- Scrub experience preferred- NCC certification in Ip-Ob or EFM- MediTech/CPN charting experience preferred- Travel experience preferred
