Bench Scientist

Contract Scientist Opportunity

Seeking a highly motivated contract scientist to join the Molecular Assessment and Profiling group in BioMedicine Design.

Will work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein biotherapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients.

Will perform critical biophysical/analytical assays using a suite of established methods.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS biochemistry major with 0-2 years with biochemistry research experience
• Able to clearly communicate experiment results; experienced with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data presenting and reporting.
• Familiar with protein bioanalytical characterization concepts including but not limited to aSEC (aggregation), iCE (charge profile), CGE (fragmentation) and DSC (thermal stability)
• Fast learner, detail oriented and highly organized; ability to complete experiments with limited supervision after fully trained

Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
