A Project Manager should have the requisite consulting and project management acumen to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. This role allows individuals to develop as leaders within a best-in-class Microsoft partner.The Project Manager will serve as a project leader, bringing together talent from highly skilled domains within our organization to deliver premier solutions. In this role, you will be expected to provide leadership, exercise emotional intelligence, and serve as a trusted advisor while demonstrating an advanced understanding of project management.Duties and Responsibilities*Role is Remote - Must have authorization to work in the USA or Canada.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Managing large and highly complex projects that impact organizational overall success with a focus on project scope, risk, quality, cost, change management and scheduleWorking with project stakeholders to develop project communications, set direction, goals, and determine prioritiesFacilitating risk assessment/mitigation sessions and follow-through risk management with a proactive, balanced, and business priority-driven approachLeveraging a solid understanding of the project management life cycle and related principles, methodologies and best practices while fostering continuous improvement of processes and executionManaging and executing project budgets of $1M - $2M+ Assisting with the discovery and development of Statements of Work, Estimating, creating, and delivering Change Orders, etc.Participating in Steering Committee activities and deliverables if required as part of the project delivery processProviding leadership and communication to customers and internal Hitachi Solutions stakeholders on project progressions, challenges, threats, etc.Participating in ongoing process improvement within Hitachi Solutions around practice delivery teams and methodology initiativesProvide first-line escalation point to your team on project and professional matters, able to coach and resolve conflictsLead teams in the face of ambiguity; drive decision-making while balancing competing prioritiesQualificationsMinimum of 5 years experience in professional services Project Management roleAbility to communicate effectively with Senior Management (including business and IT C-level staff) and customers/vendorsBalance of business knowledge and people management skillsApplied experience with Project Management principles, practices, and methodologies such as AGILE, SCRUM, CMM, etc.Excellent judgement, strong interpersonal abilities, and an assertive team memberAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to think strategically in support of the bigger pictureAbility to think outside of the box and find creative solutions to achieve organizational goalsPositive mindset, results-oriented and problem-solving attitudePreferred SkillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Business Management, or related fieldCertified Project Management Professional (PMP)Experience with Azure DevOps or similar toolsCSM certification a plusAdditional InformationWe are an equal opportunity employer.
