Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing functions. This role involves overseeing 6-10 shift employees, ensuring machine operators meet run and setup standards, and assisting with problem-solving, adjustments, and setups. You will also perform machining operations, monitor the production process for issues, and verify the accuracy of finished pieces using calibrated measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Plan and direct production, establishing production priorities to ensure low costs, maximize efficiency/productivity, and meet or exceed quality standards.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Facilitate on-the-job training and cross-training through work assignments and mentoring to provide learning opportunities and maximize equipment use.

Essential Skills

• 8 years of machining experience.
• 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in machine operating and machine setup.
• Strong supervisory skills.
• Experience in production and process improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $77000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
