Job Responsibilities
- Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements to design personalized therapy strategies that help them achieve their functional aspirations
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive and holistic care
- Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their support systems about therapy methods to facilitate continuous progress post-treatment
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring patients remain on track
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification indispensable
