AI/ML Engineer

As an AI/ML Engineer at Softek, you will develop and deploy machine learning models that power our Axiom multi-agent AI platform. You will work on natural language processing, document understanding, and intelligent automation solutions used by federal agencies to process millions of records. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and government stakeholders to turn research into production-ready AI systems. Key Responsibilities Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for document processing and NLP tasks Build and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, and model serving Optimize model performance for accuracy, latency, and cost in production environments Integrate AI capabilities into the Axiom platform architecture Evaluate new ML techniques and frameworks for applicability to federal use cases Document model architectures, training procedures, and performance benchmarks Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn) Experience deploying ML models in production cloud environments Strong understanding of NLP and document understanding techniques Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with large language models and prompt engineering Familiarity with Azure AI services or AWS SageMaker Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar) Prior work in federal or regulated environments 8(a) sole source up to $4.5M · HUBZone · GSA MAS #J-18808-Ljbffr Softek Llc
