About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BCLS and MOAB (facility will offer) Must-Have: Traveler experience accepted for first-time travelers Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not permitted to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancellation and do not return (DNR). The unit will accept 1st time travelers. Guaranteed hours can be 36 hours offered per week. The unit will accept 13-week assignments. There is no call requirement. Floating to other units may be required, including similar medical units. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Target patient ratios are 1:8 for nights. Patient diagnoses include schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Unit systems include Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. Daily census is around 16 patients with a total of 20 beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job description. All RTO must be pre-approved, and candidates cannot request additional RTO after signing. Current travel per diem clinicians are not eligible for travel contracts and must choose one. References can be pending at submission. Modules are non-billable and should be margined separately from orientation hours. Pre-start modules need to be completed online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser. Completion of pre-start modules is required before starting work. All required testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing.
