Monitor academic and attendance records to identify potential at-risk students or lack of credit to achieve graduation, and notify administration. Assist the administrative team in establishing a school climate that encourages good conduct, positive attitudes and values for all students. Build positive relationships with students, parents and staff members. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff members, parents, and students. Work collaboratively within a team environment. Administer appropriate academic tests to students as needed. Participate in staff development and school improvement activities to maintain professional growth. Participate in events outside of the regularly scheduled work day such as orientation, open houses, or conferences. Experience working with a diverse population is preferred but not required.
