Requirements / Qualifications

• Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter (Not to exceed one page))
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Letters of Recommendation, current within 5 years (you will not be considered for this position if these instructions are not followed))
• Other (One of the following documents: copy of AA degree or higher OR transcripts verifying 48 semester units or more OR copy of paraprofessional exam certificate.)

Comments and Other Information

7 hours per day; 7:30am-3:00pm; permanent 11 month position.
Location: Shasta SELPA (various)


Assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a Deaf and Hard of Hearing education classroom environment; provide tutoring, monitoring and general assistance; perform a variety of clerical duties in support of classroom activities; observe and control behavior of students according to approved procedures
