Application Developer

The Application Developer is responsible for building Ategrity’s unique insurance platforms based on requirements and design patterns established by the IT team. This role will ensure that the technical design implemented is consistent with architectural design and industry best practices while building a solution that is scalable and efficient. The Application Developer reports to the Development Manager. The Role The Application Developer role will join an existing project team delivering a flagship core insurance platform. This will involve frequent in-person design and rapid prototype sessions to support an aggressive 2026 delivery schedule. Developers will actively lead and discuss design and requirements sessions with business stakeholders. This role is a hands‑on developer role and will actively participate with a small team of other developers to complete and support this new platform. This role acts as an individual contributor within the organization. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Develop new applications following established design standards ensuring technology is scalable, fit for purpose and can be delivered leveraging a reliable sustainable, cost effective and secure approach. Lead design sessions aimed at discovering new business requirements and develop custom application logic and APIs solutions to address these requirements. Participate in regular code reviews of upcoming releases. Provide feedback and direction on code remediation. Ensure hosting and DevOps related processes and best practices and in place and being followed. Implement appropriate solutions for application / business logic as well as front-end UX / design Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of experience in web application design. At least 5 years of experience with .NET / C# Working knowledge of secure coding practices / code scanning and security remediation techniques. Working knowledge of DevOps processes and best practices Experience developing within cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like NUnit or XUnit. Experience with Blazor UI / UX expertise This role may require regular in-person work near New York city. Additional work to be performed remotely. #J-18808-Ljbffr
