Job Description
CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description Seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to provide care in a high-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular operating room procedures and possess the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Circulate surgeries, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain optimal sterile techniques.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide postoperative care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
- Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR.
- Experience with various cardiovascular procedures such as aortic and mitral valve surgeries, CABG, and robotic thoracic surgeries preferred.
- CNOR certification and scrub experience are highly desirable.
- Willingness to accept first-time travelers and 13-week contracts.
