Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year in a district near Blacksburg, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development through assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff. This is a full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) for the full academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
• Promote a positive school climate and support mental health initiatives.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology and educational policies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program (New graduate school psychologists will be considered and are encouraged to apply.)
• Valid South Carolina certification/licensure as a School Psychologist 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations.
