Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to maternity patients during night shifts, supporting labor and delivery processes. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment for 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Assist with childbirth procedures and provide support during delivery.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or maternity care.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to flexible schedules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
