Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring NBSTSA certification and at least one year of OR experience.

Details

• Hospital operating room setting within the surgical services department
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent OR CST experience required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ohio state license required if applicable
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• Active and in-hand certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted
• Facility does not accept candidates with any hits on their professional license
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Candidates may extend their assignment for up to 18 months total, followed by a required 6-month break before returning
