Senior Systems Administrator position is available to work at our client site. DURATION: 24 Months LOCATION : Albany, NY – Onsite. Senior System Administrator consultant to provide assistance with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of 3rd party application and security vulnerability mitigation. Qualifications Senior Systems Administrator - Maintains the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. Ensures that the uptime, performance, resources and security of the computers he or she manages meet the needs of the users. Senior- 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. 60 Months experience of various hardware experience in Linux, AIX and Windows Server. 60 Months experience of Installation and configuration experience in various 3rd party applications. 60 Months experience of mitigating security vulnerabilities. 60 Months experience in Technical Documentation. 60 Months experience with SSL certs, PKI intermediate and root certificate authorities. Day-to-Day tasks Software installation and configuration. Troubleshoot software installation issues. Perform problem root cause analysis. SSL certification creation via DigiCert and installation on various web or application servers. Assist in creation and update of technical documentation. Assist in process improvement. Day to day operational task for Axway Secure Transport File Transfer system. (create, update, troubleshoot and remove accounts as needed) Assist in vulnerability mitigation for various application installations. 9.
