City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. City Produce is supported by an amazing team of sales, customer service, procurement, and operations professionals.

Essential Functions:

• Transport empty trailers or equipment between designated locations with a focus on safety and timeliness
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, transfers, fuel usage, and inspection checklists
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures during transit
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues
• Assist with coupling and uncoupling trailers or loading/unloading light equipment as required
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance
• Demonstrate a safety-oriented mindset and promptly report any hazards or incidents

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess a valid Class E License
• At least 1-year successful experience driving a box truck or higher as required
• Carrier Safety Administration knowledge
• DOT physical examination and Pre-Employment Drug Test
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate verbally and written
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP score
• Organized and attention-to-detail approach
• Safety-oriented mindset with a commitment to following all safety procedures

Compensation:

• $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Sunday - Friday (Saturday Off and another day during the week)
• 6:00pm start time – Until work is completed

Physical Demands:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Lift boxes up to 50 lbs regularly
• Work in cold or wet conditions for extended periods of time
