Registered Nurse (RN) - Night ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 3x12 hours per week.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality patient care through adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees while fostering a safe and efficient work environment.Responsibilities:Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to create individualized care plans.Identify teaching needs for patients and their families based on assessment data.Provide patient updates during Initial and Re-evaluation Team Conferences.Document all assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.Communicate changes in patient status to relevant care providers to ensure continuity of care.Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff.Ensure personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.Maintain effective communication with management regarding supplies, equipment needs, and clinical training.Assume charge responsibilities as needed following orientation.Pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.ICU experience preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
