Position Summary

The WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE will prepare items for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and utilizing systems to process and arrange for the transportation of
products.

Hourly Pay Range: $17.11 - $18.42

Participation in Annual Incentive Program (ACIP)

Responsibilities

• Participate in performance tracking and High-Performance Team activities.
  * Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
  * Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
  * Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes.
  * Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  * Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
  * Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter.
  * Confer or correspond with customer service representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
  * Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: One to Three (1-3) years related experience preferred
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Intermediate Excel skills preferred
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and move up to 10 hours/day, ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
