Senior Business Analyst
A leading P&C insurance provider needs a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to establish and maintain standards for systems analysis, requirements gathering, and vendor management, analyze new business system development, and improve existing business processes.
This is a hybrid opportunity; qualified applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Boston and be willing and able to work onsite 4 days per week.
Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:
- Perform workflow analysis, create workflow diagrams, and suggest improvements to processes
- Establish and maintain methods and standards for broad range of operational and enterprise applications
- Understand current state and desired future state of various systems
- Perform and prepare impact analysis documentation
- Be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle
Requirements of the Senior Business Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of software development experience including BA experience IT-driven projects
- 10+ years of BA experience in property and casualty insurance domains
- Detailed understanding of policy admin, eCommerce, billing, claims, and financial applications
- Understanding of various third-party integrations like LexisNexis Prefill, CREDIT, MRV, CLUE, etc. is a must
- Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project with a strong emphasis on Visio
