Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical disabilities or injuries to improve mobility and function
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Master's degree)
- CPR certification (BLS) required
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
- Ability to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
