Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in operating room pediatrics is sought for a healthcare facility in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves providing direct clinical patient care in the operating room environment, supervising staff, and supporting the facility's chief nursing officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The role requires assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care on a per-shift basis, with a focus on pediatric surgical patients.

Job Details:

• Location: Detroit, Michigan
• Position Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
• Schedule: Days shift times, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, experience in operating room pediatrics, educational credentials as required for nursing licensure, and ability to work in the specified location.
• Additional Information: The facility notes that the assignment duration ranges from 13 to 16 weeks. The staffing process includes onboarding on the 4th floor with additional skill-specific onboarding details.
