About the Role We're hiring a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily truck scheduling and support construction operations by coordinating internal and third‑party trucking resources. This role requires constant communication, quick decision‑making, and the ability to adapt in real time. What You'll Do * Build and manage daily truck schedules based on job demands and production needs * Coordinate both internal fleet and external broker trucks to ensure coverage * Communicate continuously with drivers, brokers, plants, and job sites * Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls throughout the day * Make real‑time adjustments due to weather, delays, and changing jobsite conditions * Monitor truck movement, productivity, and cycle times using dispatch systems * Identify coverage gaps and secure additional trucking resources as needed * Maintain constant awareness of multiple jobs and shifting priorities * Work closely with Operations and Field teams to keep schedules aligned * Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation * Support logistics operations and assist leadership as needed * Help improve dispatch efficiency and processes across operations * Maintain regular in‑person attendance * Perform additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk * Occasional lifting of office materials (10-20 pounds) * Ability to work outside normal business hours as operational needs require What You Bring * 2+ years of dispatching, logistics coordination, or related experience * Experience in trucking or construction operations preferred * Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment * Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills * Excellent communication skills with drivers, brokers, and internal teams * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to reprioritize quickly as conditions change * Experience with dispatch systems, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office * Knowledge of transportation and FMCSA regulations preferred * Dependability and strong teamwork mindset What We Offer * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) investment program with employer match * Company‑paid life insurance * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Holiday pay * Employer‑paid Employee Assistance Program * Cell phone allowance * Company‑paid or discounted YMCA membership If you're ready to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and enjoy working in a fast‑moving, team‑driven environment, we encourage you to apply!
