The Administrative Enrollment Specialist is responsible for facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission and assisting the School Director by providing day-to-day administration of basic office and school operations. Essential day-to-day job responsibilities include:/pulliComplying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to student enrollment./liliReceiving in-bound inquiries and conducting outbound phone calls and emails to prospective students utilizing the company approved telephone guidelines and scheduling appointments with prospective students./liliAssessing and interviewing prospective students to determine their needs and goals./liliAssessing the prospective students ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier regulations, therefore determining eligibility for employment in the transportation industry. Assess prospects driving record, and ability to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Screen./liliDeveloping referrals and personal leads./liliConducting tours of the campus facilities, communicating features and benefits related to prospective student interest and program offerings permitting each prospective student to make an informed and considered enrollment decision./liliDiscussing payment options such as: Third party financing, In-house financing, Workforce Service/State agency funding, Federal and State Grants, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Administration, Private pay./liliFollowing up on all inquiries that fail to schedule an interview or fail to show for an interview./liliEnrolling students who meet eligibility requirements, completing all required forms for enrollment and orientation. Developing and implementing a plan to follow up on those who enroll to confirm they start on their scheduled start date, that all admission paperwork and requirements are completed. Meeting or exceeding enrollment objectives./liliPrepare and compile all documents in student file for the first day of class./liliProvide employer and placement information to students and accurately record in Student Management System./liliUpdate and complete student transcripts and prepare graduation certificates./liliAccounts Receivables/Payables: Prepare invoices to students, agencies, and other trainees. Process receipt of checks, cash, and credit card charges. Student attendance/earnings reported daily. General management/reporting of accounts payable invoices. Assist Director in monthly account reconciliation/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pHigh School Diploma or GED required. Prior post-secondary education experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook. Working knowledge of office equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution./p/div
