Analytical Characterization Scientist Group Leader

Eurofins seeks an Analytical Characterization Scientist Group Leader to support formulation and process development of biotherapeutics. The role involves analytical testing, characterization of candidate molecules using biophysical and biochemical techniques, and laboratory operations support across preclinical through commercialization stages.
Responsibilities
- Support parenteral formulation development for biotherapeutic modalities including monoclonal antibodies, ADCs, proteins, mRNA, and vaccines
- Perform comprehensive molecular characterization using HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and spectroscopy techniques to assess stability
- Provide laboratory support including reagent ordering, equipment maintenance, and participation in lab inspections
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on formulation optimization and candidate molecule advancement
- Prepare data presentations, compile results, and maintain documentation using Empower and electronic laboratory notebooks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or Biology
- 4–6 years industry experience with strong HPLC analysis skills
- Familiarity with biologics characterization: proteins, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, mRNA, or antibody drug conjugates
- Eligible to work in United States indefinitely without sponsorship
- Experience with Empower software for HPLC (preferred)
- Strong computer skills and lab-based system proficiency (preferred)
