Travel Physical Therapist - $1,860 per week

Job Summary MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a short‑term assignment in Detroit, Michigan. Position Details Start date: 05/25/2026 Length: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (12‑hour shifts, days) Employment type: Travel Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and successful completion of the NPTE exam. Graduation from an accredited PT program. Minimum one year of clinical experience. Valid current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT, or proactive state licensure application. Current CPR certification. Other client‑specific requirements may apply. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined by patient capacity and tolerance, under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document progress, and educate patients and families about appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan and evaluate treatment, modify care to meet therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
