ARMStaffing is looking for RN - OR Manager in Scranton, Pennsylvania

Shift: 5x8 Days

Unit Details: 2960 Operating Rooms

Job Description: As an OR RN, you'll provide specialized care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You'll ensure surgical environments are sterile, patients are properly prepped, and surgical teams have the support they need for successful operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment
• Monitor patients during surgery and respond to any emergencies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• Document all intraoperative care and maintain accurate records
• Ensure equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical safety protocols
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced settings
