About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care telemetry RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS required; NIH Certification preferred Must-Have: Minimum 1-year current acute care telemetry RN experience BLS & ACLS certifications Description: Join our dedicated team as a Travel RN in the Telemetry unit. This unit provides high-quality care to patients with a variety of conditions. The facility has 18 beds and features a supportive environment. Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians. Patient ratios are 5:1 for RNs, ensuring attention to patient needs. Equipment used includes GE wireless telemetry boxes and Welch Allyn vital sign machines. The EMR system in place is Meditech. We focus on teamwork and camaraderie among our staff. Many team members have over 10 years of experience, fostering a rich knowledge base. We treat a wide range of cases, including trauma and orthopedic injuries. Typical procedures include neurovascular checks, ambulation, and comprehensive pain control. Candidates should have a positive attitude and be oriented towards teamwork. We welcome new staff and actively assist each other.
