Machine Operator
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Fabrication Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate hydraulic press brake machines according to blueprints and specifications
- Review program specifications and adjust machine operations for accurate production
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production quality
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to identify defects or inaccuracies
- Maintain production logs and document approved and defective units
What's Needed?
- Experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow PPE and safety protocols
