Backend Java Developer
$60 - $110 per hourSaidGig
Build scalable Java backend systems while contributing real-world technical expertise that helps improve next-generation AI systems. Your work will support how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality engineering input. Prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Architect reliable microservices solutions for complex application requirements.
- Work with the customer team to review technical specifications and deliver high-quality code.
- Provide technical insight to improve application performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.
- Create clear technical documentation for processes and solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems.
- Expert proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on Spring Boot backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and design principles.
- Ability to produce clean, efficient, maintainable code.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with remote teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, data structures, and backend development best practices.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with AI-driven or data-intensive projects.
- Experience with high-availability or distributed systems.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $60 to $110 per hour.
