Position: Network Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 8 Months plus

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy Aruba ClearPass NAC across 2,500+ devices/switches.
- Migrate 2,500+ Aruba switches from AirWave to Aruba Central cloud.
- Engineer ClearPass policies (architecture, device fingerprinting, 802.1x, VLANs, Downloadable User Roles).
- Implement/configure Aruba wireless controllers, APs, AirWave, and Central for unified monitoring.
- Identify and execute network automation and operational optimization opportunities.
- Conduct wireless site surveys, predictive heat mapping, and RF optimization.
- Serve as principal communication line for project team.
- Essential staff role-may be required to report during emergencies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience.
- HPE Aruba Networking Certified Expert - Network Security certification.
- Expert in Aruba NAC deployment/management.
- Led migration of 2,000+ switches from AirWave to Aruba Central.
- Expert in Aruba Central deployment/management.
- Advanced troubleshooting and deployment of device/user certificates.
- Must complete security awareness training within 30 days.
- Must pass Level II Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Python and PowerShell for network automation and API workflows.
- Extensive experience with legacy Aruba AirWave monitoring.
- Experience with Palo Alto security suite (Panorama, Prisma Access, NGFW, DEM, Strata Logging).
- HPE Advanced Product Certified in ClearPass.
