Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Pueblo, CO

Job Type: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8-hour day shifts (No weekends)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role is ideal for both experienced providers and new graduates (must have an active license and prescriptive authority).

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical and psychosocial history
• Perform new patient consultations and routine follow-ups in collaboration with physicians
• Examine patients, record symptoms, and make diagnoses
• Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications and therapeutic interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems
• Educate patients on treatment plans and care management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Follow clinic protocols, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain continuing education (CME) requirements per state regulations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
• Open to new graduates with required licensure
• Current DEA certification required.
• Knowledge of pain management principles is strongly preferred
• EMR proficiency
