About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Dialysis experience required. License: Must have a valid permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Description: All requirements listed are non-negotiable. The role involves providing inpatient hemodialysis services, which includes both a dialysis unit and bedside care for ICU patients requiring hemodialysis. The candidate will also handle connections and disconnections for peritoneal dialysis treatment. The facility does not provide continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), as that is managed by ICU nurses. Fresenius machines are primarily used for inpatient hemodialysis, with a full orientation provided on the machines. No use of Tablo machines is present in this facility. On-call rotation and weekend coverage is required as part of the job responsibilities. All required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted. Travelers must remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless approvals are granted. Background checks of any kind will be reviewed, and any open cases will not be accepted. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen for a nicotine panel required within the last 12 months. This position emphasizes the importance of teamwork, interdisciplinary support, and patient-centered care.
