As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. What’s in it for you: Site Location: Multi-Story Corporate Office building in Hagerstown, Maryland. Driver's License and clean driving record is required! Schedule: We are looking for multiple officers to fill in part time(24 hrs) and full time shifts (32 hrs). Scheduling will be based on site needs and weekends are required to work. Scheduling will consist of morning (1st shift), evenings (2nd shift) or overnights (3rd shift). A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more You have a state license if required You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements You have CPR/First Aid Certification You have phone skills and computer literacy In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work .
