Description The Shift Manager leads every shift, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers. Shift Managers perform tasks including: Planning each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards and targets Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to provide hand‑off preparation Helping departments meet their goals Key Responsibilities Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older and able to work a flexible schedule.
