The Test Technician II takes on complex testing scenarios, performs detailed analysis, and plays a significant role in troubleshooting and resolving issues. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.Responsibilities:Execute complex testing scenarios.Perform detailed analysis and reporting.Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues.Improve test procedures based on findings.Mentor junior technicians.Assist in the development of new testing protocols.Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.Document and report anomalies or deviations during testing.Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss test outcomes.Qualifications You Must Have:Associate's degree in a related field of study.1+ years' experience as a technician or in a related field.Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.Basic understanding of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.Basic understanding of test concepts and techniques.General experience with standard laboratory test, calibration, and other measurement equipment.Qualifications We Prefer:Associate's degree with a focus on Electronics.Experience in Linux and Red Hat.Familiarity with MIL Standard 810 Test Standards.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Essential Functions:Perform testing processes on equipment, including the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.Conduct fault isolation and troubleshooting, requiring hand/finger dexterity.Analyze and document test results, spending significant time on computers.Work in potentially hazardous or loud environments, following safety protocols.Ability to travel may be required.For office roles, capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
