Company: Entergy | Location: Hammond, Louisiana, U.S. | Job Title: Project Manager | Workplace Flexibility: Hybrid | Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC Job Summary / Purpose The Project Manager – Supply Chain (Program Management) leads end-to-end material management strategy and execution for major capital projects, ensuring the right materials are planned, sourced, staged, delivered, and available to construction partners at the right time to reduce delays, drive cost efficiency, and improve field execution. Job Duties / Responsibilities Develop comprehensive material management plans aligned with scope, schedule, cost, sequencing, and field execution needs. Validate BOMs, long‑lead items, critical material constraints, and forecasted demand with engineering and construction partners. Identify material risks early and build mitigation plans (supplier alternatives, staging strategies, contingency inventory, etc.). Partner with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely purchase requisitions, competitive sourcing (as required), and alignment with contract terms. Monitor supplier performance, manufacturing schedules, and delivery commitments; proactively resolve issues. Coordinate with Supply Chain Operations to ensure materials are staged, kitted, and delivered according to the construction schedule. Oversee material management plans and ensure storage conditions, handling requirements, and tracking are executed correctly. Conduct periodic site visits to validate material availability, quality, and readiness. Monitor material budgets, variances, and cost drivers; provide updates to project controls and Supply Chain leadership. Track all material‑related activities against plan (deliveries, delays, shortages, surplus, changes). Serve as the primary Supply Chain liaison for all material‑related aspects of assigned capital projects. Facilitate coordination among engineering, construction, procurement, suppliers, warehousing, and logistics stakeholders. Prepare and present status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to project teams and leadership. Identify opportunities to strengthen material management processes and eliminate recurring causes of material delays. Support implementation of standardized SC project workflows, templates, reporting, and lessons learned. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or a related technical field, or 4 years of equivalent/related work experience. Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, supply chain, engineering, construction or operations. Experience supporting capital projects and working with suppliers, warehouses or logistics strongly preferred. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of material planning, sourcing, logistics, and construction workflows. Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities. Experience with Maximo or other material management and warehouse management systems preferred. Licenses / Certification: PMP or CPM desirable but not required.
