About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment independently across multiple radiology modalities, including X-ray and CT, to perform diagnostic examinations.
• Follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely standards.
• Provide age-specific patient care ranging from neonates through geriatrics while maintaining the highest standards of imaging quality.
• Perform applicable equipment quality control, document database and log records accurately, and enter correct billing codes in the RIS.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and support readiness for inspection by regulatory bodies such as DNV and Joint Commission.
• Maintain all required licensure and continuing education requirements for applicable modalities.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program required.
• Certification by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS in at least one modality required.
• Active Ohio state licensure required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Must be actively and consistently working in more than one radiology modality.

• 1+ years of experience in a primary radiology modality with completion of a second modality orientation.
• Proficiency with modality-specific equipment, PACS, EMR, and RIS systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and imaging protocol issues independently.
• Experience instructing students or new staff in a radiology department setting.
