Supervisor, Certified Medical AssistantUnder the direction of the Practice Manager, Physician, and/or Service Line Director, the Supervisor, Certified Medical Assistant provides day-to-day leadership and supervision of the clinical support staff within the practice. The position is responsible for coordinating Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) workflow, staffing, performance, training, onboarding, competency, and clinical operations to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care. The Supervisor serves as the clinical point person for CMA staff and is responsible for maintaining consistent clinical workflows, reinforcing practice policies and Valley standards, supporting quality initiatives, identifying operational and performance concerns, and communicating issues and recommendations to the Practice Manager and providers. The position provides hands-on clinical support as needed while maintaining oversight of CMA responsibilities, workflow, patient care processes, supplies, clinical equipment, and required documentation.
